Sweet Minialbum | Terhi Koskinen

Hello all!

Terhi Koskinen here today, sharing a minialbum I created with 13arts products. First this was a piece for a class I was meant to teach in Mixed Media pARTy 2017, but life happened and couldn't fly over to Poland. But I really love this book and wanted to share it for all of you.

This book is made without any heavy cardstock inside. Instead, there's couple layers of patterned paper and it will keep the book together.

As I originally thought this book for a scrapbooking class, I wanted to have black&white photographs inside and I loved this picture of our dog so much I wanted to repeat it four times!

The leaves, and all layers behind the pictures are made with patterned papers, some cut with BigShot and some ripped out.
I hope you find this inspiring!

Thank you for stopping by!

Together - LO by Christina

Hello there 13Arts fans!!!! It;s Christina with you today and I'm super excited with my new LO with Fiona's collection "Strength in Numbers"... So unique and soft....So "abstract" , I loved every paper and embellishment of this really gorgeous collection!!

First of all I started with my backround...This time,  not so much texture...Only some colouring with the new acrylic paints in some beautiful colours...I added some stripes of paper too and some stripes of white gesso and modeling paste ... This paper is a beauty so I didn't want to hide it at all...

Then , I started the fussy cutting and decorating the page... I used a lot of the elements of the collection ,They are all so unique!!! I really loved the quote , so I added a my title on my LO ... "Alone , we can do so liitle... Together , we can do so much..." If you know me personally , you surely know that I try to keep a message in my pages ... Some useful message for everybody... I really loved this quote...

These feathers are my favourite, so I added some chipboard feathers , too... Feathers can give so much interest in a creation... The chipboard ones are not painted , but the paper feathers are painted in acrylic paints too... I like the transparent finish of these paints....

Czas na trzecią i ostatnią inspirację od naszej utalentowanej Gościnnej Projektantki Lori Woods. Te trzy miesiące minęły straszne szybko.

It's time for the third inspiration from our talented Guest Designer Lori Woods. These three months past so fast!

Hello again 13arts fans! This is my final guest designer work for 13arts and I can't thank Aida and Marta enough for the opportunity. Today I have made a page to document the changes in my life that will shortly be happening- I am moving to a new town and will be starting a new job and feel like these changes are going to make life better for me in a number of ways.
I started with a sheet of His & Hers paper cut into strips and laid these down in alternating black and white colours. I then used the large honeycomb chipboard as a stencil and painted areas on the page in metallic bronze paint. I took some small pieces of honeycomb chipboard and attached these to the page with gel medium, adding some light grey grit for texture. Once this was dry I sprayed on old gold and used pistachio green rainbow duo to add some colour. To finish the page off I added some cogs and wire, and some alphabet stickers.
I hope the changes and events in your lives inspire you to artistic creation and thank you again 13arts!

''Savor the moment'' by Sandra

Hi gang!!
Today I show a dreamcatcher layout...I never get tired of that subjet in my layout...

The title of my layout, in my badge, is ''savourez ce moment'' who means ''savor the moment''... I love using badge as title, it's simple and fast to use.

I made a short video to show you how I made the feathers for the dreamcatcher... let's take a look...

at the first time, this is my layout:

Acrylic Paints / Farby Akrylowe

Witajcie w naszym poście produktowym! Tym razem chcielibyśmy powiedzieć Wam nieco więcej o naszej nowej linii:

Welcome to our product post! This time we'd like to tell you something more about our new line of:

>>>Farb Akrylowych / Acrylic Paints<<<

Here's few words from their Designer- Olga:

"13 Arts Acrylic Paints were made especially for mixed media and paper crafting. These are high quality transparent acrylic paints. TRANSPARENT means if you use one or two thin coats you can still see through paint cluster that means you will be able to see pattern from paper or any previous actions in the background. Of course with thick application or multi layering you will get opaque effect. We have plenty of amazing vibrant colors closed in 50 ml jars but you can mix them together and create your own custom colors . they are permanent after dry. Some hints from me: if you want to just bright up paper without destroying pattern use white or buttercream. Apply thin even layer to your paper with sponge or soft brush to avoid brushstrokes and achieve even application. If you want to mute down some super vibrant papers apply cafe au lait in the same way"

A oto kilka pomysłów od naszych utalentowanych Projektantek:
And here are some amazing creations by our talented Designers:

The new acrylic paints from 13@rts are a DREAM to work with. They are so creamy and smooth and flow off your paintbrush like silk. I love their transparency, it gives an opportunity for surprises to peak through your work.

"Hugs" by Kareen Dion

Hello everybody!! Kareen here with you today with the magnificent
new collection Art Journey from Aida.

I did a monochrome layout using shades of mint / turquoise.
I added a little touch of black to be a little more dramatic.

"Hugs"

Some close-ups :
To give texture, I used the 3D Balls, it's super easy to work with.
Just add gel medium and if you want them colored, add paint or ink.

I made a video process of my layout, so enjoy!

Handmade Journal by Fiona

Hello my lovely 13Arts friends. Fiona here with you today to share a little art journal that I made incorporating my "Strength in Numbers" collection. I am really enjoying my book making at the moment. I'm not sure what I'll put in this little one yet but it was so much fun to make.

I used an old book cover as the cover of the journal.

Then I sewed three signatures into the spine.

Each signature is made up of different pages, sizes and embellishments.

I also sewed on some extra tabs to help turn the pages with.

The process is very easy once you get every thing lined up. As long as you have a sewing machine and some patterned paper along with an old book you can make one.

I'm still not sure what I'll put into my book. I  have a heap of photos from my trip to Paris where I met Olga, Terhi and Marta. maybe I  can use this little book to create a memorable album of my trip.

I just love the way the papers sit against each other in each signature.

It's almost a shame to cover them with photos.
